Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Manager to support the operational execution of our landscape services. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with field experience who is looking to grow into a leadership position. Key responsibilities include sourcing and transporting plant materials, operating trucks/trailers, and supporting the logistics of job site readiness. In addition, this role offers junior-level project management responsibilities, assisting senior team members with aspects of project execution and completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Project Management

  • Support the kick-off of landscaping projects by reviewing plans, verifying field conditions, and communicating needs to production teams.
  • Monitor the execution of landscaping projects to ensure work is progressing according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities to ensure alignment with installation timeline and project milestones. Plant Material & Equipment Logistics
  • Source plant material and landscape supplies from local nurseries, vendors, and suppliers based on project needs.
  • Coordinate with procurement or field supervisors to ensure accurate and timely material selection and availability.
  • Pick up and deliver plant materials, sod, and other job site supplies.
  • Maintain organized delivery records and communicate with internal staff regarding material drop-offs and pickups.
  • Drive and operate trucks with trailers, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Resource & Equipment Management
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available, maintained, and in proper working condition.
  • Assist in organizing equipment maintenance schedules and managing repair needs.
  • Coordinate the organization and upkeep of the yard and shop.
Qualifications Experience:

3+ years in landscape management, landscape construction, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Knowledge :

Familiarity with most local varieties of trees, plants, and turf, working knowledge of irrigation systems, understanding of pest control issues/remediation, and experience with all types of landscape equipment.

Technology:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and scheduling tools.

Driver’s License:

Valid driver’s license with a clean record required. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor, as needed. Regular travel between customer properties.
