- Account Manager Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to oversee the maintenance responsibilities of a diverse portfolio of luxury residential properties.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and communication skills to maintain positive customer relationships, ensure high-quality service, and manage daily landscape crew activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in landscape management, team supervision, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Landscape Maintenance Management
- Conduct regular property inspection site visits to assess landscape conditions, ensure that work meets company and customer expectations, and recommend any necessary improvements.
- Address all necessary remediation and/or improvements related to various types of turf, irrigation systems, and pest control issues. Customer & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial customers, and other stakeholders. Crew & Operations Management
- Supervise and support landscape crews to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Train and mentor crew leaders and team members on best practices, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule. Revenue Generating Enhancement Opportunities
- Identify enhancement opportunities and provide recommendations to customers for landscape upgrades.
- Collaborate with design and installation teams for enhancement planning.
- Assist in developing proposals and contracts for new and existing customers. Reporting
- Prepare and present reports on service performance, property conditions, and customer requests.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years in landscape management, account management, or a related field. Educational background in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or other related discipline.
Skills:
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Knowledge :
Familiarity with and ability to manage most varieties of turf, working knowledge of irrigation systems, understanding of pest control issues/remediation, and experience with all types of landscape equipment.
Technology:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and scheduling tools.
Driver’s License:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record required. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor, as needed. Regular travel between customer properties.
