Residential Property Management Accounting Capstone Tropical Holdings, Inc. This opportunity is for an entry level bookkeeper at a fast-paced Real Estate company. Being part of our team means you are working for a top company with the nation’s leading Real Estate brand. You need to be a self-starter who can help with residential property management tasks for our accounting department. Your tasks will include performing every function for the accounting for properties. As a bonus, you will get to work directly with our CFO (also an accountant), who is a former professor and will invest in your growth! This is a position for a person who is detail-oriented and understands basic accounting. Through initial training and ongoing support, this accounting position will be able to support the Company and its property management department in many ways.

General Responsibilities:

Accounting for residential rental properties Reconciliations of Owner and Tenant Statements Accounting support Data Entry Administrative tasks Preferred Education and Experience Formal accounting education or 2 years of residential property management experience with high school diploma or equivalent Competencies General Accounting knowledge High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Undisputable ethical conduct and strong work ethic Collaboration and Communication Skills, verbal and written Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible with changing needs in a team environment Strong computer Skills; Comfortable with

Property Ware and Microsoft Office Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, in-office position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and movement through the office is required. This would require but is not limited to the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and maintain office equipment. This job requires good hearing and eyesight for customer communication and computer input.
