The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, exceptional customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of Fair Housing regulations. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously while ensuring tenant satisfaction and property maintenance. Positivity, organization and motivation are key for this position. Yardi & CRM IQ experience is a must! The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the staff and community in all areas. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned under the direct supervision of the Regional Manager. General areas of responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Answering phones/respond to lead inquiries Review Rental applications Review/Approval of lease renewal and proposed increases Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and prospects Paying property expenses/Accounts receivables Reporting the property’s financial status, occupancy, and expiring leases to the regional and property owners Complete monthly market survey – to ensure competitive pricing Meeting potential tenants, showing them the property, and assessing their applications in accordance with company policy. Manage Online Advertising Inspect the property and arrange for repairs and new materials as required Arranging contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security, and other ongoing services and managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate Investigating and resolving property complaints and rental violations Monitor delinquency and collections Work closely with the vendor to ensure quality completion of work Walk move-outs, access damages, and fees – completed move-out statement.
