Since 1974, we have been committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for boys and girls aged 12-17, utilizing a trauma-informed treatment model to support their emotional and behavioral needs. Summary We are seeking an Engagement Specialist to join our team at Anchor House Ministries. This role is vital in fostering relationships with our residents and the community, ensuring that we meet the needs of those we serve while promoting our mission of restoring hope and changing lives. Responsibilities Develop and implement engagement programs that enhance the well-being of residents. Foster relationships with community partners to support program initiatives. Conduct outreach efforts to recruit volunteers and manage their involvement effectively. Provide leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers involved in engagement activities. Organize fundraising events to support program development and sustainability. Facilitate public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our mission and services. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field preferred. Experience in program development or social work is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage volunteers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective public speaking. Familiarity with fundraising strategies and community outreach initiatives.
