Job Description
Residential Property Manager 2.2 2.2 out of 5 stars 7192 21st Street East, Sarasota, FL 34243 Local property management company looking to add a Residential Property Manager to assist with the daily residential property management operations. This is a 40 hour per week position. This position requires a service-oriented person who will work with our owners, tenants, vendors, and service providers. The right person will be well-spoken, capable of multi-tasking, and detail oriented. Will train the right person. The Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential rental properties.
Key responsibilities and functions include:
Tenant Relations:
Handling tenant complaints and resolving disputes. Ensuring tenant satisfaction and retention.
Property Maintenance:
Scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance and repairs. Conducting regular property inspections. Coordinating with contractors and vendors. Ensuring the property is in good condition and compliant with lease terms.
Financial Management:
Managing budgets and expenditures. Providing financial reports to property owners, when necessary.
Legal Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws. Staying up-to-date on landlord-tenant regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service focused. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of property management principles and practices. General contractor familiarity. Financial acumen and budgeting skills. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations. Proficiency with property management software. The Residential Property Manager acts as a liaison between property owners and tenants, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, financially sound, and legally compliant.
