Hunting Camp Property Manager Osteen, FL Confidential Oviedo, FL 32765

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Property Manager to oversee and maintain a privately held 4,000-acre hunting lease and recreational property. The land features extensive wildlife habitat, ATV trails, a shooting range, and a guest lodge used for company retreats and special events. This position is ideal for someone with experience managing large rural properties, maintaining farming equipment, developing food plots, and caring for wildlife. While on-site housing is not provided , the manager must live close enough to be on-site regularly and respond to property needs quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and operate farm and land management equipment (tractors, implements, mowers, UTVs/ATVs, etc.) Develop, plant, and maintain food plots to support game and wildlife Manage and maintain wildlife feeders , water sources, and mineral sites Maintain internal road systems, ATV trails, gates, and fences Conduct regular inspection and upkeep of the shooting range and recreational areas Prepare lodge and grounds for guest visits and company events Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and infrastructure Work independently and coordinate with vendors or seasonal workers as needed Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, supply inventories, and wildlife observations.

Qualifications:

Strong background in land management, wildlife care, or farm/ranch operations Proven experience operating and maintaining tractors, implements, and utility vehicles Knowledge of deer and game management , including feeder systems and habitat improvements Skilled in basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repairs Familiarity with ATV and trail safety, shooting range standards , and outdoor recreation Must be dependable, organized, and capable of working with limited supervision Must live within reasonable commuting distance to the property Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in all outdoor weather conditions
