Community Association Manager St Augustine Shores Service Corp 790 Christina Drive, Saint Augustine, FL 32086 Job Summary The licensed CAM position leads and supports a large Master Association within a Planned Unit Development. This position requires complete dedication and availability to the Board, Community, and Members. The onsite manager’s primary responsibilities are management of the community’s daily operations including the Riverview Club operations, assist the Board to carry out policies, work closely with the Board as an advisor, oversee vendor management, adhere to the Association budget, oversight of general property maintenance, and provide HR management for all Association employees. Availability requirements Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, in addition to after-hours and weekends for resident activities, board meetings, and special events. Mandatory emergency on-call availability is required 24-7 for community and/or maintenance emergencies. Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Education Must have a high school diploma, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, plus a minimum of (5) years of onsite property management or HOA management experience, preferably in a large-scale community. Other beneficial education or expertise might include real estate, business administration, public administration, accounting, or finance. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, irrigation, and recreational facilities is required. Proficient knowledge of advanced computer use A valid driver’s license, an active State of FL CAM license, and full knowledge of Florida Statutes Chapter 720 regarding homeowners’ associations are mandatory. Pay Scale Depending on experience, education, skill set, and certifications. Reports To CAM reports to the Board President with information concerning daily operations, meeting preparation, financials, legal concerns, scheduling conflicts, and/or special projects. Key Functions
- Oversee the daily management and operations of a large-scale community serving 3,500+ property owners, multiple onsite recreation amenities, and special events venue.
- Conducts the hiring and management of all Association staff for the HOA office, Riverview Club, (swimming pool, amenities, and events employees).
- Performs vendor selection and management to ensure quality work in accordance with estimated or contractual obligations.
- Schedules and/or reviews staff assignments to assure adequate coverage while being conscious of working within the assigned budget.
