Unarmed Security Officer – Residential Community Patrol (Deltona, FL) Nation Security of South Florida Deltona, FL 32725
Job Summary:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a visible and professional security presence throughout a private residential community. This includes conducting regular foot and golf cart patrols, monitoring access points, and safeguarding common areas such as pools, clubhouses, and recreational facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine patrols on foot and by golf cart to deter unauthorized activity and ensure community safety Monitor entrances, exits, and community amenities for suspicious behavior or safety hazards Enforce community rules and report violations or incidents to management or law enforcement when necessary Respond promptly to emergencies and assist residents in a professional and respectful manner Complete daily shift reports and incident logs accurately and timely Observe and report maintenance or safety concerns within the community Collaborate with property management and residents to maintain a peaceful and secure environment
Qualifications:
Valid Class D Security License issued by the State of Florida (required) High school diploma or equivalent Excellent observational and communication skills Ability to remain calm and take appropriate action in stressful situations Comfortable working outdoors and patrolling in various weather conditions Must be able to operate a golf cart and walk for extended periods Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
