The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, employing and developing the staff and maintaining positive resident relations. In additions, Managers must:
- Possess knowledge of Property Management Software applications
- Be organized and strong in budget management
- Posses team building skills
- Posses marketing, resident retention and resident relations skills
- Be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Approve resident applications
- Schedule apartment turns
- Set leasing and income goals
- Complete monthly reports and apartment audits
- Handle resident disputes and customer service issues Managers are responsible for complying with all state federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
A minimum of 3 years experience in property management and a college degree are preferred. Applicants with CAM, ARM, or CPM certification will be prioritized.
