The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management and real estate regulations, particularly Fair Housing regulations. This role requires exceptional customer relationship management skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage contracts and facilities. The Leasing Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring tenant satisfaction while maximizing occupancy rates. Duties Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing available units and conducting property tours. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws. Oversee tenant applications, screening processes, and lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of contracts and tenant interactions using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Collaborate with the facilities management team to address maintenance requests and ensure property upkeep. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or CMMS for efficient operations. Develop and implement strategies to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction. Conduct regular market analysis to stay competitive in pricing and services offered. Provide administrative support related to real estate transactions and documentation. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is required. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties is preferred. Strong knowledge of relevant laws, including Fair Housing regulations. Experience with contract management and negotiation is essential. Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or CMMS is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective customer interaction. A background in facilities management is a plus.
