In this role, you will prepare customized and template legal documents for transactions, manage real estate closings, conduct due diligence and legal research, and support other legal matters as they arise. You will help resolve landlord-tenant disputes and work directly with internal teams and outside counsel, ensuring that all commercial real estate transactions are completed professionally and efficiently. This role is an in-office role based out of our Corporate Office located in Norcross, GA, in the metro Atlanta area. Our Corporate Office Support Team consists of over 300 associates who are committed to supporting our Operations Team as they proudly serve and create memorable experiences for our Customers. Competitive Pay Stock ownership and stock option opportunities Health & Wellness Package including medical, dental, vision and life benefits, and health-related activities Employee Assistance Program free to all Associates and their household members Paid time off of up to 4 weeks and six paid holidays A strong, unique culture built upon putting people first, showing up and servant leadership Unlimited learning and development opportunities Internal referral program Community involvement and volunteer opportunities Team building activities department and company-wide What you’ll do: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts for purchases, leases, sales, and related transactions Perform due diligence including title/survey reviews and resolve legal/property issues as they arise Orchestrate and manage commercial real estate closings including execution and recording of deeds, easements, escrow agreements, and closing statements Review, research, and resolve property management and landlord-tenant disputes and prepare required documentation Maintain and organize real estate and property management template libraries, filing systems, and record-keeping Support other legal matters as assigned What we’re looking for: At least 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate attorney handling real estate transactions from start to finish, preferably Residential real estate experience may qualify, depending on experience Strong written/oral communication and negotiation skills Ability to produce well-written and clearly understood legal documents Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervision Professional and diplomatic interpersonal skills for a collaborative environment Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Law Degree and active law license Prior commercial real estate transactional and property management experience is essential Who Are We?
