Jun 1, 2025 About McIntosh Trail At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. Summary Oversees the development and administration of policies and programs that are designed to protect and promote the social welfare of residential individuals. Provides leadership to subordinate managers and staff. Responsibilities Conducts intakes and evaluates and evaluates appropriateness of referrals to the group homes and ensure beds remain filled. Respond to crisis situations in the home, ensuring the safety of all involved, and that the documentation is reported correctly and timely. Ensure that IDD homes are operating within their budget by monitoring expenditures and revenues. Assist with developing budgets and managing social security accounts. Interview, hire, supervise and terminate residential staff as necessary to ensure all group homes are appropriately staffed based on dictated staffing patterns. Ensure all staff attend required trainings necessary to perform their jobs. Visit all IDD Residential sites on a regular basis, to ensure all sites are compliant with health, safety and regulatory requirements. Ensure that programming requirements are being met for all residential individuals. Attend ISP meetings, audit residential charts quarterly to ensure timeliness of documentation and prior authorizations are received timely and addendums are completed accurately when applicable. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED AND three years managerial experience in the intellectual development and disabilities AND experience working in residential setting. Master’s degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.
