Job Description
Apartment Manager Are you a dedicated and organized individual with a passion for property management? We are looking for a dynamic Apartment Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Rent apartments and collect rent (
Note:
Accepting cash is grounds for immediate termination). Find, hire, and oversee vendors for property maintenance, and travel to other complexes as needed. Maintain the premises and ensure resident satisfaction. Follow all company policies, Rural Development regulations, HOME Program regulations, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations. Assist at other complexes on an as-needed basis and handle miscellaneous responsibilities for the proper operation of the apartment complex.
Daily Schedule:
Pick up trash on the grounds to maintain curb appeal. Clean laundry facilities (if applicable). Complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines. Prepare vacancies for occupancy and ensure they are rented. Handle any tasks at hand and clean the office before leaving for the day. Answer property cell phones or return calls immediately during business hours.
Job Requirements:
Must own a car and have it available at all times. Valid driver’s license. Working personal phone connected at all times. Utilities must be connected in your name if you live at the complex.
