Title:
Assistant Commercial Property Manager – Baton Rouge, LA Rampart Commercial a top leader in the property management business currently has an opening for an Assistant Commercial Property Manager. Duties include but not limited to:
- Maintains accurate client records. Updates on a daily basis all rents, deposits and application fees received from clients. Issue appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
- Deposits all receipts prior to bank close each day
- Maintains positive customer relations attitude
- Physically inspects properties when on grounds, picks up litter and reports any service needs to maintenance staff.
- Inspects move-outs and vacancies when requested
- Greets prospective clients
- Answers and handles incoming phone calls from prospective new clients, tenants, vendors/suppliers, etc.
- Maintains property specific information including brochures, emergency plans, and information / locations of all major building systems, vendors, and other relevant information.
- Provides administrative support to Property Managers, including but not limited to, tenant correspondence, maintenance coordination, etc.
- Input leases into Yardi, prepare lease abstract Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- One year of property management or retail sales experience, preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Must have computer knowledge (Microsoft Office products).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Dependable as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
