The Behavioral Residential Manager will beresponsible for staff supervision and individual programimplementation in group homes designed to support dually diagnosedindividuals with significant behavioral support needs. TheBehavioral Residential Manager is expected to be hands-on inensuring quality services, and to advance collaborative approaches-both within Benchmark and alongside community stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Provide training andsupervision to staff in accordance with state and federalregulations, as well as Benchmark Group Home policies andprocedures. Directly responsible to develop and manage staffingschedules as per required individual support ratios. Attend allagency and departmental meetings, client appointments as directed,and chair client specific and staff meetings. Participate as partof an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementationof each client’s individual plan. Monitor overall health care needsincluding plans, medications, treatment protocols, and the generalwell-being of clients served. Oversee financial management forhouse budget and for each client as specified in the ISP. Completedaily, weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation as required byBenchmark Human Services, as well as state and federal regulations.

Maintains in-home client files according to standards and protocolestablished. This includes ensuring that monthly safety fire drillsare conducted and documented. Prepare and maintain documentation,training programs, and environmental standards for certificationand licensure compliance. Ensure a safe environment to individualsserved. Communicate and coordinate repairs and required maintenanceof the group home. Communicates professionally with families, CaseManager, Behavioral Consultant, health care personnel, schools,landlords, employers, etc. Provide on call services and respond toclient and house needs. Participates in direct service forindividuals served. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications ofResidential Supervisor:

Associates degree in a related field ispreferred. High School diploma/GED is required. A minimum of twoyears’ experience working with individuals with intellectualdisabilities. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience.

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Experience working withindividuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
