Milestone provides safe, therapeutic, short-term residential placement for male and female youth age 12-18. The program serves youth and families struggling with issues that include emotional disturbance, trauma, family conflict and behavioral issues such as truancy, running and substance abuse. The program works with youth and families in crisis, providing them with opportunities to assess, stabilize and work together to create a strong plan for the future. The program provides crisis intervention, intensive family treatment, clinical assessments and assessment-based recommendations for further treatment. Services include onsite educational and therapeutic groups to address topics like anger management, life skills, healthy relationships, coping skills, substance abuse and anxiety management.
Salary :
$63,000 annually
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the planning and implementation of the daily activities schedule. Assists in developing, executing and reporting on client treatment plans. Leads staff meetings and/or clinical meetings. Provides individual supervision to assigned staff on a weekly or biweekly basis. Provides 24-hour on-call coverage as assigned. Screens applicants for open positions and assists with interviewing, hiring and onboarding. Ensures the fiscal integrity of client and program funds. Ensures that program staffing is adequate and manages schedules accordingly. Ensures accurate and timely internal and external reporting for all programmatic needs/requirements. Oversees facility and vehicle maintenance and upkeep as assigned. Oversees food services component as assigned. Demonstrates the ability to perform oral and/or physical interventions in the event of a client crisis, per program/contract requirements.
Job Requirements:
Associate’s degree in psychology, sociology or other related field of study Experience working with a similar population and/or a similar program preferred. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, conflict resolution and team building skills. Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle is a must.
