Assistant Community Manager Confidential Mattapan, MA 02126 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive living environment, ensuring compliance with property regulations, and fostering strong relationships with residents. This role requires a blend of management skills, customer service expertise, and knowledge of property leasing and fair housing regulations. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC requirements. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones. Handle resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records using property management software such as OneSite. Coordinate property leasing activities, including showings, applications, and lease signings. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it meets company standards. Collaborate with maintenance staff to address resident requests and ensure timely repairs. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and community events. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management practices. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property leasing. Understanding of Fair Housing regulations is essential. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in using property management software; experience with OneSite is a plus. A background in law or legal studies is advantageous but not mandatory.
