Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (flexible), 100% on-site About the Opportunity A brand-new, mixed-income property in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston is seeking a Leasing Manager to join its team. Just a short walk from the Ruggles T stop, this 172-unit community includes 12 stories of modern apartments, approximately 9,000 square feet of commercial retail, rooftop amenities, landscaped outdoor space, and vibrant community areas. We’re looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable professional with experience in conventional and affordable housing leasing, and familiarity with the local Boston market. This individual will play a key role in the property’s lease-up process and will work alongside a third-party broker to ensure leasing goals are met. Spanish language skills are preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily leasing activities and support team with task delegation and review Develop and execute property-specific marketing and leasing plans Manage and respond to incoming leads (phone, internet, walk-ins) Conduct competitor market surveys and apply best practices to drive occupancy Show available units and execute lease agreements Collaborate with property and maintenance staff to ensure readiness of units Build strong community relationships with local businesses, services, and outreach organizations Support and maintain compliance with internal policies and housing regulations Coordinate with the Community Impact team on resident engagement Assist with resident concerns and provide outstanding customer service Maintain accurate waitlists, application files, and compliance documentation Support clerical duties: data entry, correspondence, scanning, and recordkeeping Who You Are Minimum 3 years of leasing experience, with a focus on market rate/conventional housing Familiar with Boston’s neighborhoods and housing market Spanish language skills are a plus Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented Strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with Yardi or similar software is preferred Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed Clean MVR and ability to pass a drug screening (marijuana use is not disqualifying) Real Estate license is acceptable, but candidates not actively working in personal real estate are strongly preferred
