    MSPCC, a division of Eliot, is seeking a Therapeutic Mentor to join our team.

Our Child, Youth and Family Behavioral Health Services encompass multiple service systems including: Intensive Care Coordination, Family Support and Training, In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and Outpatient Counseling. Service delivery is collaborative, family driven and youth guided, with a focus on individual and family strengths, needs, and preferences.
As a Therapeutic Mentor you will make a difference by working one-on-one with youth in the community to help them identify strengths and build their competencies while having fun. Using a Wraparound Approach you would work with the youth to understand their needs and be their voice until they can find their own. Your responsibilities would include weekly visits with the youth in the community, weekly contact with the family and care planning team and ongoing treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to youth in the community to help them build strengths and develop life skills
Use a Wraparound Approach to understand youth needs and advocate on their behalf until they can self-advocate
Conduct weekly visits with youth, maintain regular contact with families and care planning teams, and contribute to ongoing treatment planning
Collaborate with child-serving systems such as behavioral health, DCF, DMH, schools, and local community resources

Qualifications:

Requires a High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred Experience working with youth in a community setting
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License

Monday-Friday, flexible hours
