We are currently seeking an accomplished Residential Painting Manager to join our team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an effective professional to plan, manage, and execute significant projects, further cultivating Woodmeister’s reputation as the premier builder in the high-end residential market. In this role, you will work closely with clients, designers, and architects as you lead all aspects of our residential painting projects from launch through completion. You will also be responsible for managing a team of residential painters daily- directing and monitoring the progress while keeping the project on schedule. General Responsibilities for this role include: Meeting with our high end clients to establish scope and pricing for work, adhering to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Work with with Project Managers and other team members to fill the weekly work schedule. Assist the team in enhancing and maintaining client relationships through delivery of excellent service. Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in communications with customers to build a relationship and generate sales Ensure timely response to all customer requests Create and review estimates Discover and explore opportunities to identify new clients Create and manage customer painting contracts and proposals along with change requests Obtain necessary approvals prior to any field execution. Develop and manage all budgets and schedules to ensure timely project completion Hire as needed subcontractors to perform work, execute subcontract agreements prior to the start of work and evaluate the quality of the completed work Set up jobs for the team and subcontracts with both scope, materials and equipment needed Assist in interviewing and hiring new painting staff Understand and assist in management of painting personnel Assist in the timely issuance of invoices and project report Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience :

High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 10 years painting experience At least 5 years managing a team Thorough understanding of the construction and painting industry, especially high end residential interior and exterior painting, including carpentry, high end decorative finishes and wallpapering Skilled planner with the ability to organize, budget, schedule and multitask Able to negotiate, influence, resolve conflicts and work effectively with customers, painters, and subcontractors An understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn Woodmeister software systems Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a company vehicle Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time throughout New England with possible overnights Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply!
