Full-Time Position Summary:
The Supervisor of Community Behavioral Health Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery of behavioral health services within the community. This includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting regular performance evaluations, and supporting the development of community-based programs. The Supervisor plays a key role in monitoring service effectiveness and advocating for the needs of clients while collaborating with team members and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of behavioral health staff
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services provided
Ensure compliance with Maine state regulations and agency protocols
Lead staff trainings and coordinate professional development opportunities
Create and review treatment plans and conduct 90-day data reviews
Advocate for client needs and coordinate with external service providers
Support development of community activities and outreach
Travel to client homes and staff locations as needed within the service area
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in community-based behavioral health services
Familiarity with MaineCare regulations and community mental health systems
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
