Now, any undergraduate degree or equivalent experiences qualifies for this position! Community Counseling Center is seeking passionate individuals for the Community Support Caseworker role. The CSC operates from a client-centered, strength-based approach, emphasizing the importance of mental health support. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working with diverse populations, and enjoy supporting community mental health needs. The Program Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (CPRC) supports adults and children with disabilities in social role functioning and daily living skills. Staff work closely with clients in various community settings, providing case management services and therapy to promote recovery. The Job Responsible for delivering community support services for assigned clients within the CPRC. The role involves working in the community, such as client homes or residential centers. Typically, the position manages 20-25 clients, meeting with them weekly. Essential Functions Provide community support services to children and adults enrolled in the CPRC program. Maintain a caseload, including community and hospital settings. Document client interactions per agency guidelines, completing all documentation by deadlines. Provide training/education to clients in daily living skills. Monitor treatment plan goals and maintain contact with the treatment team. Refer clients to appropriate community resources to improve functionality and develop a support system. Document according to clinical policies, DMH, CARF, and federal/state program standards. Direct Service:
Consistency in client meetings to ensure needs are met (typically ~24 half-hour contacts/week).
Documentation:
Quality, thorough, and concise documentation completed within designated timeframes.
Communication:
Effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and treatment team members.
Time Management:
Timeliness for meetings, supervisions, and client appointments, managing documentation efficiently. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, or; Any four-year combination of higher education and qualifying experience, or; Four years of qualifying experience. Qualifying experience includes service delivery to individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or developmental disabilities. Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver’s License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must meet CCC’s Motor Vehicle Record standards and have reliable transportation. Travel in own vehicle is required. The Agency Community Counseling Center (CCC)•Your Behavioral Health + Wellness Resource•has served the public since 1974. As an administrative agent for the Missouri Department of Mental Health, CCC provides comprehensive behavioral health services in a five-county area.
