We do this through the local Church and in concert with child-serving organizations, businesses, and people who care – that is where you come in. Candidate Profile As the CFEF Lead, you will be responsible for leading the on-the-ground coordination and implementation of the Care for Every Family (CFEF) movement, a co-branded initiative powered by CarePortal in Sedgwick County. In this role, you will serve as a W-2 employee of CarePortal and act as the Implementing Partner (IP) Admin for the local movement. You will function as the key mobilizer of churches and community partners, while overseeing events, storytelling, and engagement strategy. You will carry strategic and leadership-level responsibilities, including network oversight, local decision-making, and systems-level collaboration. You will report directly to the Kansas Area Director to ensure alignment and accountability. Position Summary Care For Every Director Lead –

Steering Committee & Regional Manager Your Responsibilities Include Leadership & Movement Strategy:
Lead and manage the local execution of the Care for Every Family movement, coordinating activities, partners, and strategy in alignment with the vision and CarePortal values. Serve as the central point of coordination and accountability for the movement on the ground, including day-to-day decisions, relationship management, and activation campaigns. Act as the local face of the movement to churches, community leaders, and civic stakeholders, cultivating trust and long-term collaboration. Implementing Partner Administration (CarePortal Platform): Serve as the IP Admin for the CFEF network in
CarePortal:
Assign newly enrolled churches to the correct Church Ambassador or Regional Manager. View and manage all data and activity across churches, agencies, and ambassadors within the movement. Provide basic troubleshooting, user support, and system training to ensure high engagement. Monitor and report on data trends to inform strategy and communications.
Church & Community Engagement:
Direct the efforts to recruit, onboard, and activate new churches into the CarePortal platform. Maintain high-trust relationships with church leaders, helping them implement sustainable care-sharing ministries. Plan and lead bi-monthly Church Leader Rallies and facilitate micro-engagements (meals, meetups, strategy groups). Work closely with the Regional Manager and Church Ambassadors to support network development.
Event Planning & Activation:
Coordinate 4 major community events over 2 years (e.g., movie nights, Open Streets, neighborhood festivals). Oversee logistics, registration, promotion, and community partner engagement. Collaborate with part-time event coordination support and volunteers for execution.
Social Media & Storytelling:
Manage the movement’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) in connection with CarePortal’s marketing team to ensure adherence to CarePortal’s marketing policies and strategies. Create and schedule content that highlights needs, celebrates impact, and tells community stories. Use tools like Canva and platform analytics to support a consistent, engaging digital presence. Sets priorities locally for network leaders regarding market activity and strategy: Regional Manager(s) (operational coordination) Church Ambassador(s) (field support) Local Steering Committee (movement guidance and feedback) Local nonprofits and civic leaders (movement collaboration)
Stand Together Foundation, Administrative Lead Boundaries of Role:
This role is not an Area Director and will not be responsible for: Statewide strategy or expansion decisions. Approving new agencies or implementing partners. Employee Annual Performance or Compensation Reviews. Not responsible for directly managing HR related issues/concerns. The role has no authority to bind CarePortal, either directly or under the name “Care for Every Family.” The CFEF Lead will engage in leadership duties within the local network, with functional ownership of the CFEF movement in Sedgwick County and additional counties as the movement grows. Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the
Organization:
Current resident of Wichita, KS 3+ years of experience in nonprofit, church, or community leadership. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Experience with project/event management and grassroots engagement. Comfortable using tech platforms (e.g., CarePortal, CRM tools, Canva, social media). Strong alignment with the mission of empowering churches and communities to serve vulnerable children and families. Able to lead from the middle—operating with independence and initiation to achieve goals and expectations established by senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
