DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities of the Property Manager include: Assist the Regional Manager in the formulation of budgets for each upcoming calendar year; stay within the established budget guidelines throughout the year Develop and implement a marketing program with the Regional Property Manager’s approval. Hire, train, motivate, and supervise all on-site staff to achieve the operational goals of the assigned community. Ensures that lease files are complete and that leases are completed correctly. Approves all applications in writing; prepare, process, and sign all leases and related forms. Use appropriate accounting directives in order to produce accurate records, paying particular attention to daily income and expenses, accounts payable and receivable records, and all financial reports. Initiate and implement policies/procedures to maintain resident communications, e.g., complaints, service requests, etc. Ensure daily that all efforts are made to provide a clean, safe, well-maintained community, including overseeing service requests, making ready activity and inspections, scheduling and supervising contract work, and reporting incidents. Complete any other special projects as assigned by and under the direction of the Regional Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent is required A current driver’s license is required 3 years of property management experience, preferably in a supervisory role, is required 3 years of RealPage or equivalent property management software is required CAM and NALP are strongly preferred Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required
