The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, ensuring that residents receive exceptional service while maintaining a well-managed property. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities management, conflict resolution, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the apartment community, including leasing, compliance, maintenance, and resident relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local laws governing property management. Oversee property leasing processes, including conducting tours, processing applications, and executing leases. Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Implement effective upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure that facilities are well-maintained and safe for residents. Maintain accurate records using property management software such as Yardi. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs. Manage conflicts among residents effectively, fostering a positive living environment. Collaborate with the sales team to promote community events and enhance resident engagement. Requirements Proven experience in property management or a related field is required. HUD or Tax Credit experience required. Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and staff. Familiarity with facilities management practices and maintenance procedures. Experience in upselling techniques and sales strategies is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Proficient in office software applications; experience with Yardi or similar property management systems is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
