Job Description

Property Manager Neighborhood Management Group LLC Jackson, MS 39206 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property maintenance, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective management of facilities, adherence to legal regulations, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Responsibilities Oversee property maintenance and ensure all facilities are in optimal condition. Manage tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of property operations, including financial reports and tenant communications. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including Section 8 and LIHTC guidelines. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and work orders. Bildium or Apfolio as an example Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs. Coordinate leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting showings. Collaborate with sales teams to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Perform data entry tasks related to tenant applications, lease agreements, and maintenance logs. Experience Broker’s or Real Estate license (active or ability to obtain). Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and facilities management. Familiarity with administrative duties, including legal compliance related to property management. Experience with customer relationship management systems is preferred. Strong Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations is a plus. o Section 8 o VA assistance o Other relevant programs Proficiency in data entry and record keeping is required.
