Assistant Property Manager Confidential Mebane, NC 27302 About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a thriving multifamily apartment community. This role plays a key part in ensuring resident satisfaction, optimizing occupancy, and supporting financial and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience in residential property management. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.

Support the leasing process:

show units, follow up with prospects, process applications, and execute lease agreements. Maintain accurate resident records and ensure timely data entry into property management software. Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive living environment. Help monitor and control operating expenses, review invoices, and support budget adherence. Conduct regular property inspections and help ensure the community meets company standards for cleanliness and safety. Assist in the preparation of reports, including occupancy, delinquency, and maintenance tracking. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 1+ years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or customer service. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Real Page, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) or willingness to learn. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multifamily apartment communities. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices. Bilingual abilities are a plus. What Success Looks Like High resident satisfaction and renewal rates. Low delinquency and high occupancy through effective support of leasing and rent collection efforts. Smooth daily operations and strong teamwork with the Property Manager and maintenance staff.

Full-time Pay:

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.00 per week
