What You’ll Do:
As the Community Manager, you’ll be the operational heart of the property—overseeing daily operations, driving financial success, enhancing resident satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating on-site staff to provide outstanding service and achieve community goals. Managing financial performance, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control. Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and operational standards. Overseeing marketing strategies and resident retention programs to maximize occupancy. Handling resident relations with professionalism, empathy, and quick resolution. Partnering closely with regional and corporate leadership to align community performance with business objectives. What You Bring to the
Table:
Proven experience managing multifamily residential properties. Professional certifications such as ARM, CAM, or equivalent (preferred). Solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, and develop staff. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written. Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and highly organized. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Comfortable working under pressure and prioritizing multiple demands.
Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Community Manager. Must be available for emergency on-call response.. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance required. Physical ability to walk the property (including stairs), lift up to 60 lbs., and work outdoors as needed.
