• Summary:

• The Residential House Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a level 3 residential group home for adolescents, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of residents. This role involves supervising staff, managing the facility, implementing program activities, and fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.

• Responsibilities:

• 1.

• Staff Supervision:

• Provide leadership and direction to residential staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. 2.

• Resident Care:

• Ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of residents are met through individualized care plans and interventions. 3.

• Program Implementation:

• Develop and implement programming to support residents’ social, emotional, and behavioral development, in alignment with treatment goals. 4.

• Facility Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the group home, including coordinating repairs and inspections as needed. 5.

• Case Management:

• Collaborate with external agencies, therapists, and families to coordinate services and support for residents. 6.

• Crisis Intervention:

• Respond to crisis situations effectively, implementing de-escalation techniques and following established protocols for managing emergencies. 7.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of resident progress, incidents, and interventions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies. 8.

• Staff Training:

• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for residential staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. 9.

• Budget Management:

• Manage the group home budget, including monitoring expenses, forecasting needs, and ensuring financial accountability. 10.

• Build positive relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and local agencies to support the mission and objectives of the group home.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field (preferred)
