This role ensures properties are well-maintained, residents receive excellent service, and on-site teams are supported, trained, and performing at a high level. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solution-oriented, and committed to upholding curb appeal, operational consistency, and resident satisfaction across all sites. Responsibilities Conduct routine property visits to ensure compliance with operational standards and company policies. Support on-site teams in handling resident concerns, lease enforcement, and service request follow-through. Monitor and ensure high levels of curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance at each community. Partner with on-site teams to proactively identify and resolve operational and maintenance issues. Team Leadership & Support Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to on-site property managers and staff. Facilitate regular team check-ins, site walkthroughs, and performance reviews. Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to build strong, service-focused teams. Promote a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and resident-first service. Maintenance & Safety Oversee property maintenance programs, including routine inspections, work order management, and vendor coordination. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, preventative maintenance schedules, and emergency response procedures. Monitor the condition of physical assets and recommend or oversee repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements. Leasing & Occupancу Assist property teams in achieving leasing goals by providing support with marketing strategies and outreach efforts. Monitor leasing traffic, conversion rates, and renewal performance. Ensure leasing practices comply with fair housing laws and company policies. Support teams in enhancing resident retention and engagement through service initiatives and community involvement. Administration & Compliance Ensure lease files, maintenance logs, and resident communications are properly documented and compliant. Support execution of company policies and procedures across all properties. Serve as the main point of contact for escalated operational issues or resident matters. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of property management experience, with 2+ years in a multi-site supervisory role. Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, maintenance, and customer service standards. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams across multiple sites. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region. Experience with property management software. Certifications such as CAM, CAPS, or CPM preferred. North Carolina Real Estate License (preferred or ability to obtain).
