Reports To:

Director of Signet RE Group We’re looking for a rockstar Property Manager to take full ownership of Ariston Place , a 98-unit residential apartment community in North Carolina. This is a solo, on-site position where you’ll run the show—handling everything from leasing and resident relations to financials and maintenance coordination. You’ll have full autonomy day-to-day, with strong remote support from our Ohio-based corporate team. If you’re a self-driven, resourceful leader who thrives in an independent environment, takes pride in your work, and can confidently manage a property on your own—we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Marketing Manage the full leasing cycle from lead follow-up and showings to lease execution and renewals. Maintain high occupancy through effective marketing, resident retention efforts, and outreach strategies. Ensure all leasing documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Operations & Resident Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, handling all inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Ensure superior customer service and a positive living experience for residents. Coordinate with one on-site maintenance technician to manage work orders, unit turns, and curb appeal. Financial Management Prepare and manage the property budget and ensure profitability. Oversee rent collection, bank deposits, delinquency management, and financial reporting. Approve invoices, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing and safety standards. Maintain up-to-date property records, leases, and resident documentation. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Supervise and coordinate daily work with the on-site maintenance technician. Schedule and oversee vendors and contractors for services, repairs, and capital projects.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in residential property management, preferably multifamily. Proven leasing and marketing skills with a strong closing ratio. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong financial acumen and familiarity with budgeting and property accounting. Experience with property management software (e.g., RealPage, Yardi, AppFolio) is preferred. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Why Ariston Place?
