Position:

We are seeking a highly organized, detailed, and experienced Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private 6-bedroom residence in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing household staff, coordinating vendors, personally maintaining the property, and ensuring smooth and professional operation of the estate. Candidate must be local to the Winston-Salem area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a 6-bedroom private residence.
  • Support and personally maintain the overall appearance of the estate and be able to perform all the job functions to ensure a high level of cleanliness and detail.
  • Manage household staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, and external service providers.
  • Ensure proper functioning of all home systems, including HVAC, security, and smart home technology.
  • Maintain inventory and procure household and maintenance supplies.
  • Maintain inventory and procure household grocery and beverage needs.
  • Monitor household budgets, track expenses, and manage vendor invoicing and reporting.
  • Plan and manage private events and guest stays with high attention to detail and discretion.
  • Support the primaries of the residence, including coordination and preparation of travel, events on property, and organizational maintenance of four school-age children.
  • Develop and maintain household manuals and procedural systems.
  • Ensure the privacy, security, and overall efficient operation of the estate.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estate, property, or hospitality management.
  • Proven leadership experience with staff supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using household and management software; tech-savvy.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license; background check required.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Winston-Salem, NC.
