The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals within our care environment. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a commitment to providing high-quality support. The Monitor will be responsible for supervising activities, administering medications, and implementing crisis intervention strategies as needed. Duties Supervise individuals in various settings to ensure their safety and well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions. Implement crisis intervention techniques when necessary to de-escalate situations. Collect and maintain accurate data regarding individual progress and incidents. Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders regarding individual needs and progress. Provide support in home community care settings, assisting individuals with daily living activities. Utilize conflict management skills to resolve disputes or issues that may arise among individuals in care. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs. Qualifications Certification in First Aid is preferred; training may be provided. Experience in crisis intervention techniques is highly desirable. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate individuals. Proficient in data collection methods and documentation practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial. Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
