Job Description
Regional Property Manager United Property Management North Carolina The Regional Property Manager (RPM) is responsible for the overall performance and management of multifamily apartment communities within a designated portfolio. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of each asset including but not limited to: asset specific program compliance, marketing, budgeting, financial management, oversight of the physical plant and supervision of staff. The RPM will ensure their portfolio of properties meets or exceeds its financial performance targets and ownership objectives. Financial performance and attainment of ownership objectives will be achieved by ensuring that: Revenues are reviewed monthly and maximized to the full extent possible. Expenses are regularly and carefully monitored and controlled. Staffing levels are appropriate. Employees are properly hired and trained. Resident satisfaction and retention is considered a high priority. Each property is maintained to the highest standards with a continual focus on asset preservation and enhancement. Regulatory compliance and adherence to all legal requirements is reinforced and deadlines met.
Requirements:
All skills, expertise, and attributes required to perform the site manager position Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control, and reasoning skills Acceptable criminal record check/bondable Good working knowledge of compliance associated with programs in place at sites, LIHTC (3 years experience preferred), HOME, HTF, etc Enthusiasm, good work ethic, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, dependability, and honesty Good human relation skills demonstrating the ability to tactfully and professionally deal with Residents, Peers and Supervisors High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver’s License Knowledge of computer software or ability to learn programs- specifically Microsoft Excel and Word and Onesite Some travel required
