Description
Lakes Region Community Services is now accepting applications for a Residential Program Manager to oversee the operations of the Broader Horizons residential home.
Some of the duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Overseeing the operation and management of the staffed home to ensure services are of high quality and are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Plans and facilitates monthly staff meetings, and attends other staff meetings/team meetings as required by supervisor
Assures the regular, direct supervision of House Managers and Therapeutic Direct Support Professionals occurs, including, but not limited to performing yearly written evaluations, developing and monitoring staff development plans, and ongoing reviews of staff performance, including regular on-going feedback and guidance, and disciplinary action, as needed.
Coordinates with Human Resources (HR) and House Managers to interview, hire, train and evaluate employees.
Works collaboratively with House Managers to ensure certification & licensing requirements are met.
Assists in the development of the program’s budgets and assumes ongoing responsibility in the oversight of cost effectiveness of financial expenditures.
Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations, including supervisory support to House Managers, whether by phone or in person after normal working hours. Notifies the Executive Vice President for all situations involving the police and/or hospitalizations.
Ability and willingness to provide direct care as needed.
Weekend availability required.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree with 10 Years of experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience, Master’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience. 15 years of relative experience can satisfy for an Associate’s Degree. Valid NH Drivers’ license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks are also required. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
