Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Community Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, promotes, attends, and executes resident events for the property.
  • Assists office when possible, in delivering skills training for residents (in-person, self-help guides, web-links, on-line offerings, etc.).
  • Interacts with residents entering Clubhouse to use facilities.
  • Assists with functions at Clubhouse reserved by resident(s).
  • Coordinates clubhouse rentals.
  • Oversees social media sites; monitors and promotes community online reputation.
  • Ensures public areas and equipment are in clean and operable working order.
  • Checks equipment for usage as appropriate (amenities such as TV, game equipment, kitchen amenities, etc.), ensuring equipment is functional and clean, ready to use.
  • Ensures that all amenities provided by community are used in accordance with community policy.
  • Ensures that amenity use is restricted to residents or guests accompanied by residents.
  • Accepts packages, places work orders that may be received after general business hours.
  • Monitors public areas for safety including TV area, pool area, grill/fire place area.
  • Responsible for following a daily schedule as assigned by Property Manager.
  • Secures facility at end of work shift including checking exits/entrances, lights, alarm.
  • Responsible for cleaning amenities and surrounding areas (pools, sauna, hot tub, dog park, etc.).
  • Ensures that residents are provided a clean, safe, and well-maintained community through inspections and follow up efforts.
  • Tests pool/spa chemicals throughout the day per operational standards and report to Community Director of any issues. Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Communicates (clearly and regularly) with residents through mailings, social media, phone, text, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Distributes notices and communications to residents as needed. Leadership Responsibilities
  • Assists Property Manager in actively marketing property by implementing outreach marketing plan.
  • Assists Property Manager with training of clubhouse staff.
  • Schedules clubhouse team to ensure appropriate coverage is available to meet property needs, while minimizing overtime hours.
  • Assists Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) with implementing social, cultural, and/or educational programming (for residents).
  • Maintains regular contact with local Social Service agencies and their programs staff. Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintains records of tasks completed as required by Property Manager.
  • Completes all Makor University training in time frame specified.
  • Maintains Activity Reports as required by the Community Director and RSC.
  • Completes Special projects as assigned by Community Director and RSC. Company Responsibilities
  • Assists the Property Manager with other tasks as requested.
  • Complies with Company policies.
  • Develops and maintains positive rapport with residents, neighboring businesses, local vendors, and other industry groups.
  • Embraces and execute the vision, mission, and beliefs of the Company.
  • Supports the safety program.
  • Be punctual and present at work when scheduled.
  • Flexible schedule is required including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays. Qualifications Education and Experience o High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. o Degree in business, hospitality, marketing, social services or property management is preferred. o Three to five years of property management experience (or equivalent).
  • Special Skills Required o Good time management skills o Strong customer service orientation o Represent oneself and the company in a professional manner o Must have a good mechanical ability and be a fast learner with common sense.

Must be able to retain what is taught. o Must be a self-starter who can work efficiently with little supervision. o Must have the ability to reason and use good judgment. o Must be able to read, understand, and comply with product labels, safety manuals, and policy and procedures.

  • Knowledge o Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws o OSHA and EPA regulations and company safety policies License(s) or Certification(s): Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Inside and outside work in all types of weather is required. Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching is required. The ability to frequently transport or move up to 50 pounds variable distances is required. Driving to client and/or corporate locations is sometimes required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the ability to communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents.
