As a Security Officer – Residential Site Patrol in Edgewater, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with residents and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by addressing concerns and supporting a culture that values teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Assist residents and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by management, adapting to the unique needs of the residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Experience providing customer service is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
