Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and skilled Handyman/Property Management Support Contractor to assist with repairs, turnovers, inspections, emergency response, and occasional property showings . This is a part-time, on-call position with a varying weekly schedule depending on our property needs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours and supplemental income.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general property repairs and maintenance Handle tenant turnover tasks (cleaning, patching, lock changes, etc.) Complete scheduled and as-needed inspections Respond to emergency calls and troubleshoot tenant concerns by phone Identify and respond appropriately to emergency vs. non-emergency issues Occasionally assist with property showings when needed

Requirements:

Hands-on skills in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or septic systems (a plus) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues over the phone, including after hours Strong communication and people skills Dependable, honest, and professional Must be comfortable with a 1099 contractor role (independent contractor with General Liability Insurance per NJ) Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Must be able to work independently and problem-solve

Compensation:

Paid only when you work Part-time flexible hours – schedule will vary weekly This position is ideal for a semi-retired tradesperson, maintenance tech, or jack-of-all-trades looking to pick up flexible work.
