Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-drivenGeneral Manager / Executive Director to lead daily operations at aluxury 55 active adult community. The GM will oversee all aspectsof operations including leasing, team leadership, residentexperience, lifestyle programming, maintenance, and financialperformance. We are not a healthcare community•this is notassisted living or skilled nursing•but rather an upscale rentalresidence designed for independent, socially engaged adults whovalue convenience, quality, and a strong sense of community.
KeyResponsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development Serve as theprimary onsite leader, ensuring smooth daily operations and anexceptional resident experience. Hire, train, mentor and overseestaff including concierge, leasing, lifestyle coordinators, andmaintenance teams. Lead with visibility•regularly engage withresidents, families, and staff. Leasing & Sales Oversight Driveoccupancy by coaching the leasing team on prospect engagement andlead conversion. Partner with marketing to implement leadgeneration, digital marketing, referral programs, and communityevents. Monitor sales pipeline weekly and collaborate withownership on strategies to maintain optimal occupancy levels.
Resident Experience Oversee development of a robust lifestylecalendar: social events, fitness, education, live entertainment,outings, wellness, and more. Build partnerships with local vendors,instructors, and entertainment providers. Ensure programs cater toa diverse and vibrant 55 resident population. Operations &Maintenance Ensure exceptional building presentation, safety, andamenity function at all times. Oversee vendor relationships andservice contracts. Implement preventative maintenance and managetimely resolution of resident service requests. FinancialManagement Prepare and manage the operating budget. Monitorfinancial performance and control expenses while preserving servicestandards. Review vendor contracts and ensure cost-effectivepurchasing and services. Resident Relations Cultivate strongresident relationships to promote satisfaction, retention, andreferrals. Proactively resolve resident concerns and promote apositive, inclusive community environment. Actively serve as the”face of the community.”
Qualifications:
Minimum 3•5 years ofleadership experience in hospitality, property management, luxuryapartments, active adult, or senior housing. Strong sales andleasing acumen with demonstrated ability to drive occupancy.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a highlyvisible, hands-on management style. Experience managing operatingbudgets and vendor relationships. Experience with luxuryresidential, hospitality, or lifestyle-focused communitiespreferred. Proficiency in CRM/property management systems (e.g.,Yardi, RealPage) a plus.
