Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for residents, clients, vendors, and visitors, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing front office operations. This role also includes accepting and processing rental payments from tenants. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in a team-oriented office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist tenants, guests, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person regarding property information, maintenance requests, and general questions. Accept, process, and issue receipts for rental payments from tenants (check, money order, and other accepted forms of payment). Maintain an accurate log of payments received and follow office protocols for handling rent payments securely. Accept and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Assist with data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks. Support property managers and office staff with special projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Prior experience in reception, customer service, or office administration (real estate/property management experience a plus). Experience handling payments or basic cash-handling duties is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment. Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude. Supportive and team-oriented work environment.
