This role is essential in overseeing the management of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards while fostering positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer relationship management, and facilities management, with a focus on compliance with legal regulations such as LIHTC and Section 8. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Oversee lease agreements, including contract negotiations and renewals. Coordinate maintenance requests and manage facilities management tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained. Implement effective conflict management strategies to address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of tenant files, contracts, and property documentation. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify maintenance needs. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and other property-related services. Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants through effective sales strategies. Requirements Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 housing programs is a plus. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to foster positive interactions. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property leasing and tenant rights. Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle tenant disputes. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using property management software and tools for record keeping and reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with tenants, vendors, and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
