Property Manager Confidential Rochester, NY Job Summary:

The Apartment Property Manager is responsible for the overall management, operation, and performance of a residential apartment community. This role involves overseeing leasing, resident relations, property maintenance, financial management, and compliance with all applicable regulations. The Property Manager ensures the property is well-maintained, rented, and provides an exceptional living experience for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing and Occupancy:

Manage the leasing process, including conducting tours and processing applications. Ensure maximum occupancy rates by implementing effective leasing strategies. Facilitate lease renewals, rent collections, and the timely turnover of units.

Resident Relations:

Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints promptly. Foster a positive and welcoming community atmosphere. Plan and execute resident events and community activities.

Property Maintenance:

Work with the maintenance team and ensure the property is maintained to high standards. Schedule and supervise repairs, renovations, and regular inspections.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management, with a strong understanding of leasing and maintenance operations.

Skills:

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).

Other:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
