Hotline Supervisor Confidential Bethpage, NY 11714
Overview:
Non-profit victim services agency is seeking a qualified and compassionate Hotline Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our 24/7 crisis hotline serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This position ensures hotline coverage, staff support, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise hotline staff and volunteers, including scheduling and training Provide on-call support and guidance during high-risk or complex calls Monitor hotline activity to ensure responsiveness, safety, and adherence to protocols Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and retention Ensure proper documentation and data entry in accordance with agency and funder requirements Collaborate with program staff to ensure smooth coordination of services Maintain hotline policies, procedures, and resources
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field (Master’s preferred) Minimum two (2) years of experience in a crisis response or victim services setting Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
