This is a growth-oriented role for a motivated individual looking to develop into a full Property Manager. Candidates must have 1-2 years of property management experience and be proficient in AppFolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Property Manager with daily oversight of property operations Communicate with tenants regarding inquiries, maintenance issues, and lease matters Coordinate service requests and vendor work orders via AppFolio , ensuring timely completion Conduct routine property inspections and report any maintenance or compliance issues Monitor rent collections and issue late notices through AppFolio Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs using AppFolio workflows Maintain accurate records of leases, payments, work orders, and vendor documentation Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including: Recording payments and invoices Bank reconciliations Monthly financial reporting support Budget tracking Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments Support compliance with all applicable housing and building regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in property management required Hands-on experience using AppFolio property management software is required Working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor, reliability, and eagerness to learn

Working Conditions:

Combination of office-based work and on-site property visits May require occasional after-hours availability for urgent matters
