Job Description

- Property Manager Responsibilities
- Supervise the maintenance, administrative and compliance staff
- With the Assistant Manager, Supervise the front desk staff (24/7) and food service staff
- In collaboration with the Director of facilities Department and the Claremont Superintendent, manage ordering, repairs, and maintenance
- Assure compliance with fire safety regulations including routine fire drills and inspection and the fire safety equipment.
- Assure all required licenses, operating certificates are current
- Be available to negotiate and respond to grievances and reasonable accommodation
- Protect residents right at all times
- Maintain resident information including move-ins and move-outs, rent changes, subsidy changes, and rent payments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Section 8 and LIHTC, Knowledge of other
- Housing subsidy programs preferred including but not limited to Section 8 (project based and tenant based vouchers)
NY/NY I,II,III, SCRIE, DRIE, HHAP, CITY FHEPS
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Proven management skills including strong computer skills, and facility with excel word, outlook, facility with Real page or similar databases
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
