Full Job Description Description:

Storage King USA is hiring a Property Manager for our Staten Island, NY location. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, restaurant management, sales, marketing, or property management, roles that involve direct public interaction. As a Property Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, assist customers with storage rentals, and be part of a growing team with a supportive culture and career growth opportunities. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires Saturday and occasional weekend availability .

Typical hours:

Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM-5 PM , with flexibility based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Rent storage units, parking spaces, and sell merchandise. Convert phone and walk-in inquiries into rentals. Operate the property within budget guidelines set by leadership. Inspect and approve the contractor’s work before payment. Enforce rental collection policies; attend auctions and evictions as needed. Supervise on-site staff and maintain a positive work environment. Manage rental income, including posting, collecting, and tracking delinquencies. Maximize tenant renewals. Build relationships and explore cross-promotional opportunities with local businesses. Perform daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, secure locks, restock supplies, and handle light maintenance and repairs. Maintain the overall property appearance by sweeping, cleaning units, and identifying maintenance needs.

Requirements:

Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer operations. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Able to stand and walk for long periods. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. This role is 50% maintenance and 50% operations —you will be solely responsible for maintaining the property’s cleanliness, functionality, and overall upkeep.
