Property Manager 3 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Hauppauge, NY 11788 We are looking for a skilled and motivated Property Manager to oversee the operations of office buildings or property portfolios in Hauppauge, NY. This long-term contract role involves managing tenant relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and leading a team to maintain and enhance property value. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and project management while fostering a positive and productive environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor property management staff to ensure operational excellence and high-quality service delivery. Communicate regularly with senior leadership and clients to address tenant concerns and operational matters. Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Oversee tenant improvements, capital projects, and property repairs to maintain building standards and enhance value. Conduct routine property inspections to assess maintenance needs and recommend improvement projects. Coordinate lease administration, ensuring compliance with agreements and facilitating tenant construction projects. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address repair and renovation requirements, securing bids from contractors as needed. Manage financial processes such as tenant billing, collections, and account reconciliations in partnership with accounting services. Monitor and analyze financial statements to project future budget requirements and address occupancy trends. Support tenant relations by reviewing lease proposals, handling lease language, and ensuring seamless communication. Proven experience in property management, preferably with office buildings or portfolios. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively. Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting processes. Knowledge of lease administration and tenant relations practices. Familiarity with construction project management, including tenant improvements and renovations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and tenants. Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and managing collections processes. Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
