House Manager – Residential Services 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Bellefonte, PA 16823 Job Summary We are currently seeking a Residential House Manager to work in a Centre County group home. The Residential House Manager directs assigned staff on a daily basis ensuring the highest quality of service. This is a supervisory position that requires multi-tasking, flexibility and the willingness to be trained to meet the program needs. Provides day-to-day variety of everyday living services and care to individuals with disabilities using positive approaches with respect for individual rights. Documentation responsibilities including completing monthly and quarterly reviews, monitoring Behavior Support Plans, when applicable; personnel responsibilities including completing and approving staff time sheets, scheduling staff and completing and participating in staff performance evaluations. The schedule will vary, but is typically a set schedule each week- however this is a supervisory position and requires a lot of flexibility and the ability to fill in based on the needs of the program during times of vacancies, when staff call off, etc. Therefore, the candidate must be available for any shift including weekends and holidays as needed . The Team Leader position does require on-call responsibilities as well. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of support staff to ensure high-quality care for residents. Manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining compliance with regulations. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and training of employees. Collaborate with supervisors, behavior support providers, healthcare professionals and other professionals to create and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident. Maintain a safe and compliant working and living environment. Maintain accurate staff and program individual records. Develop and enhance partnerships with staff members, and/or participants for the completion of all duties and responsibilities of the position. Implement participant-focused initiatives that enhance the participant experience. Set clear performance, behavior, and attendance expectations with direct reports. Provide direct reports with timely feedback, coaching, and guidance to achieve expectations. Ensure team and individual support of external and internal regulatory compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines. Facilitate staff meetings, develop agendas, and address concerns. Ensure the development and timely completion of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and program plans. Ensure compliance with applicable licensing regulations. Requirements 18 years of age or older High School diploma or GED equivalent 3+ years working directly with individuals who require specialized services is preferred Prior supervisory experience also preferred. $17.00 – $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
