Allentown, PA Job Details Full-time $34 – $35 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Mid-level High school diploma or GED Driving Organizational skills 1 year Leadership Communication skills Time management Full Job Description Residential Supervisor The Residential Supervisor for Aegis Solutions will oversee a minimum of two residential group homes. They will be responsible for the direct oversight of the direct support professionals providing care and services in those homes. In this role, it is expected that the supervisor will provide direct care when necessary, complete scheduling tasks, demonstrate leadership skills, provide individual-specific training to their team, and conduct staff meetings.
Job Essentials:
Scheduling staff appropriately so all individuals have the appropriate coverage and services Ensure the individuals you oversee receive the correct services as authorized Schedule doctor appointments, follow-up appointments and provide the appropriate documentation reflecting those appointments and visits Assist in arranging transportation when necessary Scheduling and being present for meetings, monitoring’s and trainings Participating in the on-call rotation which will include rotating weekends Ensuring documentation is completed per shift. This can include; MARs, service notes, and appropriate documentation in the individual Electronic Health Record Provide guidance and encouragement to team members to ensure required tasks are completed. Ensure the homes you oversee have adequate supplies and communicating with leadership when items are needed Working with staff to develop a system that ensures the homes are clean, staff have delegated tasks to complete and staff understand their responsibilities for cleanliness in each home Complete weekly medication checks; Reviewing MAR where necessary, reviewing blister cards and medication on hand, calling in refills and double checking the overall supply of medication on hand Hold monthly team meetings in a professional manner. Develop trainings that are individual-specific and ensure staff have the required trainings that reflect the needs of the individuals being served Ability to hold staff accountable in a respectful and professional manner. Following through on coaching and counseling staff when needed and providing written discipline as necessary Interact with leadership, team members, ancillary departments, and individuals with respect and professionalism at all times Prioritizing professional development by seeking out and participating in opportunities to improve skills, earn certificates of completion, and gain experience to better service our individuals. Submitting required annual and personal documentation as needed, per regulation to maintain compliance. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
At least 1 year with outstanding service as a DSP. Organization and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Standard understanding of systems within ODP, Basic understanding of spreadsheets, emails, and technology. Understanding the regulations of ODP Have and maintain consistent work performance, attendance, and flexibility. Completion and maintaining all required training Completion of NADD within 6 months of position acceptance. GED, High School Diploma ( required) 2yrs or more in a degree related to this filed preferred.
